1967 AMC Rebel SST

Description

Up for sale is my 1967 Amc Rebel SST Convertible 1 or 1200 every produced and even lower in the SST v8 trim option. Its been in our family for quite awhile now and my interest has shifted to a corvette i have just got done restoring which is was my dream car. Now unfortunately i need the space and this beauty needs to find a new home. Car has been shown several times and shows incredibly well. Needs nothing, it is ready to meet its new owner have a great rest of its lift. It has been completely restored including paint, rebuilt engine, rebuilt transmission, new interior, and numerous other things rebuilt as i will mention below.
Engine Features a completely rebuilt 290 4bbl high compression typhoon with a mild cam and factory manifolds. In 1967 you cold option their trans am racing engine which was this one or a 343 typhoon. These were the only 2 v8's available. Pushes the car very well and has never let me down it Runs as good as it looks.
HEI installed with 8mm wires
Rebuilt Power Steering
Non-Power brake car but brakes very well
New steering gear box
Aluminum radiator with electric fans
New battery with all new wiring ground,power,etc..
New starter
Freshly rebuilt transmission (have receipt, recently done) 3 speed automatic
Exhaust and mufflers/tips are 5 years old.
New Shocks
New inner and outer tie rods
Factory A/C Car not installed but i do have the factory ac.
New Carb
Exterior is done in a red, factory color being an ugly blue. Paint is a 9.5 out of 10 with professional corrections recently done. (I drive the car often to car shows etc.. i had some touch ups done in areas with wear. I.e.. where the doors meet etc..
Chrome is excellent all but one spot on back bumper is pitted
Stainless steel trim is in great condition all around the car
Still bears factory rust prevention in wheel wells and under the car. The car went under a bear metal treatment, not a cheap paint job. I have photo album of car undergoing the process.
Top is new
Windshield is new, all other glass no cracks
weather stripping is OK and some has been replaced. Car has seen rain twice by accident.
Interior is completely re-done also. One blemish on drivers side door sill where the door shutting rubbed. Cant see it only if door is open.
Dash has been recovered in leather not vinyl to replace the in dash speaker set up amc did. It was ugly and tore up. The leather dash is brand new. Radio to my knowledge works there has just been a speaker delete.
Windows roll up and down
Ashtrays and cig lighter still in tact
Carpet is new
External gauge cluster installed for more precise readings
Top motor been rebuilt goes up and down excellent
Speedo sticks sometimes from dash installation being tight
Wiper motor
doesn't
work
