ld school Vintage Libretto/Vocal Book for the Broadway musical PIPPIN. This was one of the first of these Music Theatre International librettos licensed for this musical.
The Broadway musical PIPPIN was written by STEPHEN SCHWARTZ, who also wrote GODSPELL, THE BAKER’S WIFE, CHILDREN OF EDEN and the gigantic hit, WICKED. The book was written by Roger O. Hirson. The original production was directed and choreographed by BOB FOSSE.

ll the MUSIC is hand written and the dialogue is typewritten, as was the style at that time. It is the complete script with all the vocal lines of the entire score.

here are no markings on any of the pages except for the number 7 in pencil on the cover and 1st page. All of the other pages are unblemished. The front and back covers have much wear and tear with some scuff and stains. However the inside pages are all in great condition, near mint.
